CURRENTLY Abe is a babe!

Ooooooh it's that time of month again! Time to link up with Farley over at Oh' Boy Fourth Grade for one of my {favvy} linky parties... CURRENTLY!

Listening: I decided to give hubs a weekend away from the gym and having to watch hours and hours of volleyball. So my assistant coach and I decided to turn this tournament into a girls weekend! Hubs is getting geared up for a boys night and superbowl party tomorrow and playing some video games right now :) He cracks me up!

Loving: Yes, Abe is a babe!! Like seriously, this is my favorite craftivity I've done (I know, I know.. I haven't done too many yet!) Haha.. but I love him! The elementary school I teach at is called Lincoln Elementary, so obviously our former president holds a special place in my heart. So to celebrate Presidents Day and kick off our Famous American projects I had to make a craftivity! Here he is:

Isn't he adorable?! This pack includes all the templates to make Abe the Babe, and many other ELA writing activities! Click here to pick it up at my TPT shop! (But wait until tomorrow when it's on sale!)

Thinking: Preparation.. I'm just thinking about all the different line-ups we might use tomorrow, and hoping our girls decide to show up!

Wanting: I don't know about you, but I am UBER excited for the sale tomorrow! I think my wishlist is up to 24 items now.. can't wait to go TPT shopping crazy :)

Needing: We're supposed to be leaving for our tournament in a half hour, and I haven't packed a thing! Leave it up to me to procrastinate on that one!

Pet Peeves: If you read my High and Low linky post, you saw the issue we are having with one of our students. Needless to say, even though this already was a pet peeve, it's REALLY one now. Chairs moving: No, I'm not talking about X-men powers here people. But you know when all of your kiddos are on task and working quietly (pure bliss, right?!) and one of your kids decides to come ask you a question... and when they do, you hear the awful "SCHREEEEEECH" of their chair and EVERY child has to stop what they're doing and turn and look?! Ugh, yes.. THAT is what I'm talking about! Which is why hubs and I recently cut 300 tennis balls and put them on the bottom of our classroom chairs.. problem solved:)

Before I sign off, just wanted to remind you about the wonderful sale happening over at TPT tomorrow!

Head on over to my shop to receive 28% off all of my items!! I am extending my sale through Monday, too! Go ahead, shop till you drop! I have updated some items by popular demand, like my Whole Class Journal Writing Prompts. There are now 10 journal covers in the pack! Click here to pick it up!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend! :)

  6. Let me know how your tennis balls hold up! I bought these chair covers for mine, because I also despise that noise!! Not as cute as tennis balls, though!

    1. I've had them on for about 2 months, and.. so far, so good! The kiddos LOVE them too :) They are WONDERFUL! I'm lucky my mom is a varsity tennis coach, so I got her teams used ones for free! Hopefully you can find a cheap source, cause they are great :) Thanks for following!!
