Tried it Tuesday: New Lesson Plans & Fantasy Football APP!

Not much time to blog before I head out for our match tonight, but I wanted to quickly link up with one of my BBB's to share a few things I've tried lately. Holly at Fourth Grade Flipper has a great linky party! :)

The first tried it I'm going to share is my lesson planner book for this year!

I went back and forth about purchasing an Erin Condren planner. I absolutely LOVE them, but I couldn't justify spending the money (and that just might be hubs breaking point haha!)

So I researched and found the amazing A Moden Teacher's planners and got so excited! They are amazing, customizable, and affordable! I purchased mine during the big back to school sale and got it for unde $6! I used some of her premade templates and customized some and printed! Office Max coil bound it for $3 ! I'm in love:)

Without further ado...

It is colorful, organized, and I LOVE it:)

Next I want to share with you a totally uneducational app, but I love it!

I'm sure many of you can related to the overpowering sport of fantasy football! It has taken over my house for the past few years each fall! Hubs is part of 4 leagues, and I joined in the fun 2 years ago for one of the leagues! I always got so bummed because I never knew who to draft and hubs did all this research to get the best teams!!

This year, "there's an app for that!" I was so excited when hubs decided to work with his college bball teammate to make a fantasy football app!

The app is a draft board app, designed for you to take with you to your fantasy drafts or use while you draft online. It's a compilation of the best rankings to give you a list of the best players available by position. As players are drafted, you can remove them from the board and it will tell you who the best available players are for each position for you to draft!

I LOVE it! Obv I'm a little biased, but I used it for the league I am and got the #1 draft! I was pretty pumped:) So download it for yourself or tell your honeys... It's a good one!!

Have a great Tuesday everyone:)

  3. I was "Jonesin'" for an Erin Condren planner, but as a student teacher, I couldn't bring myself to spend that much for an uncertain [remainder of the] school year! I did, however, think that the planner you listed above was worth it to help me keep my sanity while I teach and finish college! Thanks for posting about that wonderful planner!

Has anyone every thought of doing a TeacherBlog Fantasy Football League. How sweet would that be?
