Me Time Monday!

With the crazy school year I had, and summer finally beginning, Amanda's linky party couldn't have come at a better time!

So I'm taking a step away from the teaching posts for today, so share with you what I'VE been up to to de-stress and unwind from the craziest year of my life!

My amazing mother-in-law planned a family vacation for all of us the week I was out of school! My SIL just gradated from Ohio State, so it was a perfect way for all of us to spend a week together before she was off to start her big girl job!

So, my last day with students was last Thursday, then we had a district wide meeting Friday, packing up our classrooms, and we were DONE! I spent most of the day helping one of my fellow teachers move her classroom, so I was exhausted by the end of the day! Friday night, around 11:30pm we all began our carpool to Bethany Beach, Delaware, one of our favorite little beach towns.

It was a week filled with TONS of mindless reading, tennis playing, morning and evening walks on the beach and board walk, and LOTS of laying in the sand, napping and relaxing. It was JUST what the doctor ordered. :)

Here's a few pictures from our trip!
{Loved walking right out to this from our condo}

{Hubs and I in Ocean City one morning, enjoying the boardwalk}

{Putt-putt golfing is always a huge family hit}

{Trolly ride around Bethany}

{Late night walk on the beach and crab hunting}

{Family dinner on the water}

{Last night on the boardwalk}

It was a perfect week, and I'm finally feeling rested and ready to tackle my 2 grad school classes, getting things ready for next year, volleyball 24/7, and my HUGE list of TPT products I want to make! The beach is good for the soul :)

So what have you been doing lately for YOU? I need my books, my husband, family, friends, and the sun to keep me sane during these crazy times! :) Link up with Amanda and share!
